This beautifully decorated Georgian stone built cottage has been carefully designed with close attention to detail and is only a short walk from local shops, cafés and attractions of popular Bakewell.

Bakewell is a thriving market town with plenty going on, and just a stone’s throw from the rolling hills and trails of the national park. Explore the shops and cafes or why not try a famous Bakewell Pudding or visit the markets on a Monday.  For those looking to soak up some local culture, historic Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall can be reached by foot or car.

The cottage is entered into via the spacious sitting room, which features an oak floor, Victorian cast iron gas coal effect fire and large sash windows. Decorated in warm tones, this room is a cosy space in which to relax after a long day of walking. Next door the kitchen and dining room has been decorated in a country farmhouse style, with decorative splash back tiles, stone flooring and a door to the patio outside.

Upstairs, two three double bedrooms share a Jack and Jill en suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have been decorated in pastel floral prints with cast iron beds to suit the period of this cottage. At the top of a further flight of stairs accessed from the master bedroom, a final bedroom is located in the eaves. This charming space is ideal for a child/teenager/ 1 adult as it its accessed via a bedroom on the floor below.

When you’re not busy exploring Bakewell, the enclosed patio area to the back of the kitchen is the perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco drink or you also have the front patio with seating to enjoy.

Super cosy, charming cottage! Lovely living room and fire. In perfect location for walks, local market, shops and pubs. Also, thank you to the owner for the little touches such as the xmas decorations. They made for a welcoming arrival. Hope to return! Would highly recommend!

Lovely little cottage close to the centre of Bakewell. Just a few minutes walk away. Only issue we had was parking the car as there is no parking outside of property you have to find a space on the road, which can be hard to find. We ended up parking in the town centre overnight on one of the days, but apart from that we had a lovely long weekend.

Brilliant location! Car parking a couple of minutes walk away not a problem, neighbours friendly

The cottage had lovely aspects and had lots of features. Very comfortable. 10 minute walk to Bakewell centre. Great base for walking routes, especially the Monsal Trail. Very dog friendly.

Really beautifully appointed cottage, with top quality bedding and towels etc. Everything you needed for a weekend getaway/recharge. Absolutely just what we wanted. Great location, short walk down the hill into Bakewell. Third bedroom only accessible through other bedrooms - which wasnt a problem for us. Wed go back in an instant.
