We love this property so that we can take our dogs on holiday with us. Location is perfect for walks in a beautiful part of the country.

We were a couple with dogs, and the cottage was ideal for us. Cosy when it rained as we had a log fire too. It would be ideal for four guests too with two en-suite bath/shower rooms in the double bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements for the extra two guests in a corridor are unusual though. We would certainly plan to return soon.

Lovely well laid out cottage and very practical for a family of 5. Kitchen is well equipped (even managed to make a cornedbeef pie with the the help of a previous night wine bottle haha). Plenty of information about local area walks and attractions. Clean and tidy rooms and a beautiful garden.

This is the perfect cute and cosy cottage for a couple or two couples. The dining/living room is ideal for small babies roving around and for adults in the evening watching TV or chatting in front of the roaring fire. The location is beautiful, the large front garden has stunning views across the Peaks. And the proximity of the tennis court was ideRead moreal! One small negative is that the two double bedrooms are on the small size and could do with a spruce up, but in summer that really doesn't matter Hide

A comfortable cottage in a quiet secluded location. Good big lawn for children's play. Well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The WiFi works well in the lounge but the signal is not strong enough to reach the front bedroom.

The cottage is in a good location, close to the village centre but the 2 eateries are closed on Monday and Tuesdays even in the peak season. The property is comfortable but not the best of furnishings but probably due to being 'dog friendly'. The bathroom and shower room are ensuite, so if using the bunk beds you have to go through a bedroom to useRead more a bathroom. Not ideal for adults parties maybe? A nice size garden with hedging and shrubs but not fully enclosed for dogs. Hide

Lovely barn. Had a great time. Walking directly from the property which we enjoyed. Also great location to visit many attractions. Our dogs are tired from all the walking. Many thanks.

A coffee maker would be appreciated, apart from that every thing else was very good. The owner Paul came to greet us and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this cottage.

The fantastic log fire is a big selling point and there is an abundance of dry firewood available from the owner at a small cost. The location is ideal for doggy-walk holidays and with the Chatsworth farm shop only 5 miles away - what more could anyone want?!?
