A charming detached bungalow that’s nestled in the pretty Peak District village of Combs. Enjoying far reaching views of the surrounding countryside, this property is a great base for exploring the Peak District National Park.

This detached bungalow is located on the very north west edge of the Peak District National Park in heart of Combs village. The property enjoys wonderful views across open countryside towards Ladder Hill and you can enjoy waterside walks around most of Combs reservoir where sailing and fishing is available. There is also temporary membership available at the nearby golf club. The property has gardens on all sides and the internal accommodation is spacious throughout and all on one level.

You enter through the porch into the good sized entrance/dining hall off which are all the rooms. A door to the rear leads off to the rear patio and garden area with splendid hillside views. To the rear of the property is the well equipped kitchen with all the essentials you will require for your stay. Off the kitchen is a separate utility room and second rear door. To the front are the two bedrooms both of a good size the main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The spacious lounge enjoys truly picture window views of the surrounding hills and benefits from the warmth of an open fire.The bathroom has a bath with separate shower cubicle hand basin and toilet. There is a further separate cloakroom off the main entrance area with toilet and hand basin.

Lawned garden areas are to the side and rear of the property where you can enjoy the late afternoon and early evening sun.

The situation of the bungalow is very good being almost opposite the Beehive Inn and the food there is really good. Combs itself is lovely with walks from the door in all directions. The views are amazing; the bungalow is clean and comfortable with spacious rooms and has a lovely little rear garden. Comfy 2 bed bungalow, in excellent quiet location, short distance to all Peak District sites and walks. 2nd bathroom is a cloakroom, but we managed very well with 4 adults. Very good kitchen facilities if you want to self-cater, and supermarkets in Buxton and Chapel for supplies. Pub with excellent food, about 100yds away - you need to book! Owner Read morewas on hand for any queries. If we feel we need to return to the Peak District in the future, would definitely re-book, as several others have. Hide

We found this property lovely and spacious with the large dining room and living room. The view from the living room window - despite the weather's attempts to shut this out - was beautiful. The stone wall entrance to the driveway is a bit narrow but with a normal hatchback this was not a problem. A larger car or 4x4 might want to park on the road Read moreoutside. Booked a table at The Bee for Sunday lunch just as well as all tables had reserved signs. Hanging Gate also has plenty of choice. Hide
