Lovely cosy cottage in a great location and two doors away from pub. Pub is under new management and we enjoyed a meal there. Loved the log burner - stairs are steep but not a problem. Very close to Ashbourne and supermarkets. A comfortable cottage and nice touches to make you feel at home. Yummy cake on arrival!

We had a fabulous weekend break. However we're in our 70s and found the two flights of cottage style steep bending stairs (like spiral but original wooden stairs) a little difficult. Everything else was fine. Kitchen tiny but we ate out in local pubs.

Nice cottage. Local pub had a nice atmosphere. Landlady let us park in their carpark. If your dogs get muddy they will have to stay downstairs as the carpets are cream. Heated up quickly. Stairs very steep which some people may find difficult to climb but that's often the case in these little cottages.

Not suitable for 3 dogs due to cream carpets up 2 flights of stairs and 2nd floor lounge. Nothing available to wash a dog if they get muddy and so this is not an option. If you stay on ground floor as we did - there is no TV which should at least be an available you have been out walking all day !
