A spacious property nestled in 20 acres of gorgeous countryside. A quiet rural idyll with nearby riverside walks and stunning views of rolling fields and woodland. Just a short walk into the nearby village of Eyam.

The cottage commands a spectacular location in a rural haven of wooded pastures that are steeped in history, close to the Riley Graves and the Hancock family who were victims of the 1665 plague. The property's hillside position provides stunning views across Froggatt, Curbar and Baslow Edges, with the grandeur of Chatsworth House visible in the distance. Explore the countryside via the footpaths or riverside walks along the Derwent and into Middleton Dale. A short walk into the local village to the Miners Arms pub is a great way to spend the afternoon.

The open plan layout of this spacious cottage gives it a bright and airy feel. Limestone flagged floors and gas central heating give the property warmth, and a woodburner set into a Derbyshire stone fireplace adds a touch of character. A double bedroom with an en-suite shower room is located on the ground floor, as well as double glazed doors that lead out to the pretty patio area for evenings spent enjoying the breathtaking views.

Nice welcome basket with wine. Good position for visiting area but track to it would be impossible for 2 cars to pass. Pretty well equiped but could do with more crockery. Very quiet location but extremely creaky floorboards so our sleep was disturbed a lot. TV and router instructions not very good. Only a few hooks for clothes in wardrobes. No shoRead morewer mats. Upstairs bathroom ceiling very low. Take your own toilet rolls and tomato sauce!! Would I recommend - yes but I would mention the above. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a lovely position on the outskirts of the village of Eyam, very quiet and secluded with only 2 other cottages on site. Didn't hear anybody in the other cottages at all, met the owners on a couple of occasions very pleasant people. Suited us perfectly.

Wonderfully appointed cottage, everything is of high quality and is well thought out, from the 'welcome pack' to basic essentials, so helpful if you come from overseas. Super quiet and very convenient location, for exploring the Peaks.

Clara cottage was a fabulous place to stay in the Peak District. Spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. Eyam village an easy walk down and The Miners Arms serves good food. Lane to cottage is long and narrow but we had no problems. Would recommended to anyone.

Ideal for walkers and general holidaymakers. Good access to nearby towns and places of interest. Ample local pubs, restaurants, etc for dining out. The access is a bit restricted for cars, being single track some 3/4 mile up a hillside, but negotiable with care. Owners very helpful.

A lovely cottage with great views - wonderful if you like to be off the beaten track. The narrow approach road may put someone off if they are not a confident driver!

This was the perfect location. Nice and peaceful, away from the modern world of noise and lights and the buzz of people. The ground floor lounge/living area was large & comfortably furnished, with adjacent bedroom & ensuite. the first floor bedroom & bathroom were enormous, light & airy, with shower & free standing bath.

This is a spacious, warm, modern, end cottage of a block of 3. The cottages are at the end of a long narrow track, up hill from the village. Walking into the village would be possible, but would be long and hard work if not fit ! ...... so car is essential.
