A gable end cottage enjoying a wonderful position amidst 20 acres of beautiful grounds. Breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside and across the valley opposite give this property a great sense of space.

Situated close to the village of Eyam and its history of the 1665 plague, the cottage offers guests an array of beautiful views. Spectacular valley vistas and elegant Chatsworth in the distance, make this property a splendid location for basking in outstanding natural beauty. For those looking to stretch their legs, the nearby Monsal Trail offers cycling and walking trails along the disused railway tracks.

Embracing open plan living, the spacious cottage has flagged limestone floors which give a real sense of character and charm to the property. A woodburner inset in a Derbyshire stone fireplace creates a feature of the room. Downstairs there is also a bathroom with toilet and hand basin.

Upstairs the delightful bedroom with oak beamed ceilings features a king size bed and an en-suite shower room, with shower, hand basin and toilet. The bedroom windows perfectly frame the impressive views of the surrounding countryside.

On the ground floor a set of double glazed doors lead from the lounge onto a patio area that's ideal for spending the evening in the quiet tranquillity of this rural location.

There is also an additional double sofa bed available for increased occupancy, bedding needs to be requested at time of booking. The proximity of Clara and Clarice offer great group accommodation, ideal for special occasions or group getaways.

Located on the edge of the lovely village of Eyam. The cottage has superb views and all of the facilities we required. A bottle of wine and other bits on arrival was a thoughtful touch. Shared laundry facilities were perfectly adequate. Quality accommodation; a friendly host; a perfect peaceful get away.

Wonderful peaceful hideaway! This cosy little cottage is ideally placed to be remote enough for a quiet and scenic base from which to explore the Peak District yet within easy walking distance of both Eyam and Stoney Middleton.

We spent Christmas at Clementine Cottage and had a very happy time. It is close to the village of Eyam but felt more remote because it is higher up with views over the fields and moors. Clementine is the end section of a barn converted into three small properties yet still felt private and quiet. The cottage is clean and well-equipped and our frienRead moredly hosts left us a generous welcome pack. The location is excellent within easy reach of Chatsworth, the Peaks, Bakewell and we loved it.
