A delightful single level cottage, perfectly situated for those looking to explore the countryside on foot or by bicycle. It's also just a short drive to pretty market towns - perfect for whiling away an afternoon.

This cottage enjoys a delightful location on the edge of the pretty village of Hartington. Nearby, Dovedale is just a short walk away, or for those looking to stretch their legs a little more, the cycling trails of Tissington and Manifold are right on the doorstep. The local pub, The Devonshire Arms, is located just 500 yards from the cottage - perfect for those lazy afternoons when there is nothing better than some great pub food and a toast y fire. The pub even has a dog walking club every Saturday and Sunday morning.

The open-plan, single level cottage with beautiful vaulted beam ceilings throughout is full of character. For days spent indoors, the fully equipped kitchen, lounge/diner offers the ideal space for socialising. Finished to a high standard, guests can benefit from underfloor heating throughout. the cottage, making it a delight to return to after a day exploring. The first of the bathrooms is a wet room located just off the kitchen, whilst the second is an en-suite for the master double bedroom. The second bedroom, consisting of two single beds, has a beautiful beamed ceiling is a great space for a restful night's sleep.

Outside is a really pretty patio area with furniture and a great sunny position offering a lovely space to enjoy warmer evenings and making it a great setting for a BBQ. For those seeking some evening entertainment, the nearby pretty market towns of Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell are easily accessible, or for those who prefer a cosy night in, the cottage also has Sky television and DVD.

This is a lovely cottage with 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 large wet rooms. The location is amazing and wonderful to watch the cows in the field in the evening. Patio area and furniture great for Bbq,s and the owners are very friendly and there if you need them. We will certainly book again.

A welcome pack of fresh eggs and milk, a meet & cuddle the lambs session with the owner, all you need for self catering in the kitchen, cosy bedrooms with interesting original features. What more could you need?

Hartington Village is a really quaint place to visit with various attractions within short distances . Of special mention are the delightful Beresford Cafe , the Village Cheese Shop , mmmmhh . Couple that with the Bus service to Ashbourne . Within striking distance there are some Raw Milk farms with Cafes , High Peak Book Shop which has a huge seleRead morection of books , for all sorts and ages . Lovely position close to Hartington village center with its selection of amenities. Easy access to footpath for walks. Friendly owner's who are close at hand but not intrusive.

Great cottage. Everything you need for a home from home experience. If you enjoy walking, just step outside for some wonderful walks just on the doorstep. The village of Harrington is perfect for all your needs. All in all our holiday was absolutely fabulous...
