What a great place for a really good break. Plenty of rooms and space, all the equipment you can need, fantastic views across the valley, very helpful owners (they even allowed us to hire a hot tub for the patio). The cottage was clean, some cobwebs around and a bit dusty in places. Good equipment supplied in the cottage lots of good quality china and kitchen equipment. We had an amazing stay at Derwent View. The house is in an idyllic position with views of the surrounding hills. Just behind the house, a short walk away, lies lagoons and a waterfall perfect to cool off in after a hard day of walking. Owners are helpful and any problems are sorted out that day.

We spent a fantastic week here. The cottage was very well equipped and it was great to have things like dishwasher tabs and loo rolls provided. The dogs and the children absolutely loved the field. There were plenty of sheep free walks within a short distance from the cottage (always a bonus). We would certainly return.

Great place to stay for a large group! Amazing views over the peaks. Good location. Good facilities. A bit tricky getting out of the parking space as you have to reverse down a hill and then rev it to get back up the hill but we made it every time! We all had a lovely time here as a big family group of 11.
