Ideally positioned for making the most of the great outdoors and the spectacular landscape of the Dark Peak, the cottage is a delightful property with the nearby villages of Hathersage and Hope offering local amenities, including Hope railway station which makes this cottage easily accessible by both rail and road. Guests can explore the Blue John Mines, caves or simply take a stroll through the village and enjoy the goings on of village life.

Entering the cottage, guests will find themselves in a cosy hallway that leads into an open-plan lounge and kitchen-diner that contains all the essentials. For those who want to dine out, there are 2 pubs in the village.  Relax in the lounge and unwind with a DVD after a day spent outdoors in the rugged landscape of the Dark Peak.  The bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a toilet and hand basin that perfectly completes this charming cosy cottage.

The charming open space is bright and airy from the double doors that lead out onto a south facing seating area which enjoys all day sunshine and charming views across the stable yard. A BBQ and outdoor furniture make this a great spot for al fresco dining on a warm evening. The property is nestled amidst the owner’s grounds giving it privacy and security.

A very comfortable,well located barn conversion with the friendly and helpful owners on hand that makes this ideal accommodation for two (+dogs). In a village with an excellent bus service,a well stocked Co-op, post office, fish and chip and several pubs .

Unfortunately the bed was too high for my disabled wife, also the toilet was too low for her otherwise it was a relaxing holiday. Loved meeting the horses Percy and Arnie.

The cottage is very comfortable with pleasant views of the surrounding hills and easy access to many interesting places. The hosts are on site and friendly without being intrusive. They were also very quick to deal with issues that came up. My wife has MS and uses a tr-walker around the home. Anyone whos never been to the Derby Dales is missing out. Beautiful part of the world. Despite the weather being rubbish we managed to find things to do.

We chose to stay in Bradwell because its in a good central location. Eden Tree Cottage is just off the village road, but we didn't notice any road noise at all. The bed was comfortable and the shower nice and hot. The place was small but we had everything we needed. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The 'cottage' had everything we needed. Bradwell is an excellent place from which to visit the Peak district. A good Co op was also very useful.

This is our second stay here. The location is perfect for exploring the Peak District and is set on the grounds of the owners courtyard. Fantastic cottage, very clean, fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Great surroundings with lovely views from the lounge window. The horses were an added bonus and nice to see them poking their heads out of their stables.

The cottage was clean. Well maintained with provisions for washing up and towels for wet and muddy dog paws. It was lovely and quiet and we all enjoyed our short stay. Internet was very fast.

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Best nights sleep in a nice comfy bed. Its lovely to wake up and see two lovely horses looking right at you! My GSP loved it there and has really been so good and well behaved. I found it so quiet and not so many tourists there as castleton was so hectic over the Xmas season. A lovely break in a stunning part of the UK. The cottage was perfect in every way, possibly the best equipped that we have ever used. Very welcoming hosts and even my dog made friends with the horses!!

Could not fault this cottage at all. Owners very friendly and available if needed (we didn't). Location is great for lots of walks. Edges and moors plus popular villages such as Castleton and Hathersage within a few minutes drive. The village of Bradwell itself is lovely, the Co op is handy and well stocked. Absolutely loved this place. The location is great for exploring the Peak District and beyond with the right balance of being tucked away but we'll connected. Inside the cottage is everything you could need for your stay, and the Internet is fast, and the mobile network being strong in the area. There is space to park off road in front of the cottaRead morege with Percy and Barney in the stables next to the cottage. The owners are on site but are not intrusive and very friendly.
