Well situated, nicely presented. We used the parking space without trouble (fiesta). It was dark downstairs- to be expected but more lights would be a good addition.

A lovely cosy cottage in an excellent position but possibly not for older people with the steep stairs and low sofas.

A fantastic location, cottage was clean although could use some updating and chilly downstairs (we couldn't get the stove working). Fine for a base for a couple of days. We gave up on the parking space but parked at the end of the lane. Lots of great pubs in the village.

This is a beautifully cosy cottage , nicely decorated and with everything you would need. We felt very comfortable and loved the ease of having the gas stove and warm central heating. It was a beautifully situated property and very cozy and quiet. Also lovely and warm. The cooker was old so we didnt cook on it so that would be one of my 3 negative points. The shower was very weak with no pressure. The bed, even though double, had a board at the bottom, so wouldnt be good for a taller couple. Perfect location! Loved relaxing by the cosy gas fire in the evenings and watching TV. Very comfy bed which was appreciated after all the walking we did. We had a great 7 night stay. The location, at the entrance to Limestone Walk and on the edge of Castleton was perfect. We had a 2 minute walk to shops, pubs and restaurants.
