Cottage is located in a idyllic setting with great access to local attractions such as Bakewell, Monsal Trail and other local attractions. Lovely welcoming pub and coffee shop within a one minute walk from the cottage. The cottage has all you could want from a short break, there were two of us and our dog and we had ample space for what we wanted. Traditional, quaint stone cottage in the most beautiful village. Cottage well equipped. On road parking in March was easy. A brilliant bus service right outside the door takes you to Matlock, Buxton and into Bakewell (for a small charge they take the dog too)! Lots of walks directly from the cottage.

Enjoyed the location in the historic village with authentic cottage but didn't realise how small it would be and how much the access only front garden would bother us. It was great having the T room and Bull Inn so close but for us personally the lack of space and privacy would stop us renting this cottage again .
