Well equipped cottage, compact but everything thought of & comfortable. Plenty to do in surrounding area. Great view across the valley from the terrace. Just need a small car for easier parking.

We had a really nice time staying here. We greatly appreciated the welcome pack of food and drink, and flowers, left for us on arrival. Our hosts, Hugo and Toby, both came to say hello and to check that we had settled in OK. The cottage is ideally situated on a quiet lane, with lovely views across to the opposite ridge of the valley that WirksworthRead more is situated in. The veranda outside is not overlooked. The property is ideally situated for walking routes such as the High Peaks Trail. Hide

Small but very well equipped and immaculately clean. Great location meant we only had to use the car twice during our week's stay. The locals were super friendly - one even offering us a lift to the pub and another imparting loads of useful information. Bizarrely, we had a visit from a friendly stray turkey. We certainly hope to go back.
