I stayed here for 5 nights with some friends and we can't really fault it. It's in a perfect location if you enjoy long walks or just wait to head into Matlock. It's got beautiful views out of the windows and it's the perfect place to unwind from a long day of sight seeing

Beautiful cottage with beautiful view over the valley. It's a bit quirky with going downstairs to the kitchen and extra bedrooms but added to the character. Master bedroom is amazing. All mod cons and nice to see a holiday let having a smart TV and brilliant wifi coverage. We had a lovely time. Great location with fantastic walks from the house. The stairs down to the ground floor are steep and open so would be concerned if you had small children or are frail but there is a stair gate. We had a great stay and had everything we needed.

Great cottage location and perfectly placed for visiting all of the local attractions. You certainly wont get board of the views from the living room window out and over the valley. Garage perfect for cycle storage, and managed just fine without a garden for the week with our four legged friend (lots of short or long walks near by)

More crockery and cutlery than you will ever need. Dishwasher not used but love the idea. Supply of reading a nice touch. Immaculately clean. Dogs not forgotten with bowls and beds provided. Once you get the hang of the stairs a great place to stay. Also great views.

Unfortunately I'd injured my knee and found the stairs to the kitchen a bit steep, but the cottage was adorably quirky. The beds were a little too soft for my husband's back but it was very comfortable and the outlook over the valley was wonderful. We thought it was excellent value for money.
