Guest entering this charming property into a large entrance hall, through to a spacious and light  open plan lounge/kitchen/dinrer, retaining many of the original features including the exposed timber bearms, an ideal living space the kitchen area having an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, the lounge area with comfortable sofas, cosy with the woodburner for those chilly winter evenings (complimentary 1st basket of logs included), with Sky TV including sports and movie. A dining area perfect for your evening meals. The conservatory offers the perfect place to relax with views over the pond.  A retiring room with sofa, a large selection of books and games, an ideal snug area.  A double bedroom on the ground floor. A shower room with shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. A steep spiral stair case leads from the open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area to the first floor giving access to the king size master bedroom with exposed beams, vaulted ceiling and French doors, the en suite to the master bedroom comprises of roll top bath, separate shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Outside: A decked area with garden furniture and hot tub and views over the pond.  Approximately 200 meters from the property there are country walks with open countryside and footpaths.

Lovely converted barn, beautifully furnished, overlooking a large pond. Plenty of space with different rooms to relax in. Bedrooms with own facilities works really well. Very quiet. Owner welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend.

A lovely property, easy to find, comfortable to live in. Nice hot tub, though maybe a bit closer to next-door than we'd like. We had to ask for a bread knife & for matches to light the (very efficient) log burner - & search for the kindling as it was buried underneath the logs! Hunt the kitchen light switch is fun. Whilst the accommodation was adequate for a three night stay I would not recommend for any longer. The hot tub was lovely but you need to bring your own towels and there are no bath robes. Please note there is no washing machine, tumble drier or dishwasher. There was no welcome pack which was disappointing. My friend and I had a fabulously relaxing weekend break here. The cottage is located in a very peaceful location and is within a relatively easy walk to the local shop. This place is an absolute gem! Beautifully positioned, clean and well maintained. Super comfortable beds and pillows! Loads of space for socialising or relaxing! Everything we needed was available and the hosts answer questions quickly and couldnt do enough for us. This was a delightful stay and I wouldnt hesitate to return - highly recommend!

Quirky cottage with an amazing view over the pond, we really enjoyed our week here with our dog and did quite a few walks directly from the cottage. Hot tub was lovely to relax in at the end of the day and it was very peaceful there.

Found an absolute gem with this lodge, very tastefully furnished throughout, quaint but ample space for 4 adults. Hot tub was clean & well maintained on a lovely decked area. Stunning accommodation, tastefully decorated and providing everything needed for a perfect break. We slept upstairs and it was lovely to wake up overlooking the lake. Absolutely amazing long weekend away. Drew was an amazing host, nothing to much bother and checked in on us. The lodge is rustic, hot tub devine, one of the best we have been in. Cart lodge is a truly delightful property. So quiet and peaceful. Photos don't really do it justice. We loved watching the birds and squirrels from the decking even the kingfisher. Hot tub was great. The lodge was amazing ,so relaxing watching and listening to the wild life just what we needed. The bed was so comfortable we haven't slept that well in a long time. Hottub was great well needed. Even Paxo the parrot enjoyed her stay in her cage on the decking saying wheres the fishes. Drew was a lovely host. We will be returning.

We were looking for a place to relax and unwind and we could not have found a better place. The cottage is perfect to put your feet up and enjoy the birds singing. We bought our fishing kit which was a bit old as we had not fished since childhood. The experience was peaceful but we did not catch a thing! Stunning holiday cottage, idyllic views and location. The cottage is very spacious to say how little it looks. The decking area is peaceful and seeing the fish and terrapins in the pond was lovely.. would highly recommend this cottage for a family or couple it was a lovely relaxing stay.

We stayed a week in February and had an amazing time! The hot tub is brilliant as well as the whole lodge super comfortable and beautifully done. Beautiful accommodation! Celebrated my sisters 40th birthday here last weekend and we loved it, we wished we had booked an extra night! It was lovely and warm and the hot tub was amazing!
