With the picturesque rolling hills and dales of Dorset right on your doorstep, these cottages are perfect for anyone with a love of the outdoors and great rural walks. The quaint market towns of Shaftesbury, the Gold Hill and Gillingham are both within a 5.5 mile radius. With an abundance of shops, pubs, markets and wonderful walks, you'll be spoilt for choice on your holiday.

Stepping through the front door, you'll find a welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. The kitchen comes complete with all you need for a self-catering escape to the country including an electric oven and hob, fridge / freezer compartment and a washing machine. The lounge area has ample comfortable seating, a nest of coffee tables and a TV/DVD to relax and enjoy your favourite films and TV shows on. Upstairs you will find the bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, complete with shower over bath and WC. The property has a night storage heating system for cosy evenings in.

Wow, what a gem in a stunningly beautiful area. Our apartment was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed for a great holiday. Sadly we were there for only one week, the weather was so good and the views so lovely that we ate all our breakfasts and dinners on the patio. Lovely place for a break away! Incredibly calm and lovely views. Spacious, enclosed garden for our dog to run around in, and lots of walking routes too. Short drive away to various amenities and supermarkets - and a lovely pub with great food down the road too.

The cottage is absolutely amazing, so clean and really well furnished with everything we needed during our break. The outside space was lovely to sit and enjoy a few drinks. A lovely getaway for two in a beautiful location. Everything you need to self-cater if you wish to, with easy access to supermarkets in Gillingham. Extra heaters to keep you toasty warm. Amazing view from the cottage. A great base to explore the surrounding area, well worth a visit.

We had a lovely stay at Wagon Cottage. So peaceful and a lovely big secure garden for the dog. The cottage was extremely clean and well maintained and had very comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Although there was neighbouring lets, they weren't near enough to feel overlooked. Plenty of parking. The sky at night was beautiful as there was no light Read morepollution. A lovely location and cottage. Owners were friendly and at hand if needed. Enclosed garden great if have a dog, but the fence between the two cottages would be better if solid so dogs cannot tease eachother through the fencing. Very pleasant cottage. Quiet and peaceful, shame there is not a pub within walking distance. Would recommend The Crown at Murnhill. Nice enclosed garden for our little dog. Owners very friendly and helpful.
