This fantastic, comfy and stylishly decorated detached cottage with private hot tub nestles in Cinderford, a vibrant town in the beautiful Forest of Dean

Cinderford is situated in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, and offers easy access to a wealth of trails that can be explored on foot, cycle or horseback right from the front door. For those looking for a little more adventure there are opportunities for caving, abseiling, canoeing and a high wire rope course. For keen cyclists the Forest of Dean cycle centre is just a few miles away and offers a well-marked trail that takes you deep into the forest. Among the many other local attractions are the Dean Heritage Centre, The National Dive Centre, Puzzle Woods and Clearwell Caves, Goodrich Castle, Go Ape, Perrygrove Railway Coleford, the Sculpture Trail and Cyril Hart Arboretum.

On entering this fantastic single-level holiday lodge you will find yourself in the tasteful and cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The airy and beautifully furnished lounge is an ideal area for relaxation, and is equipped with TV and a traditional wood burner. The bright and welcoming dining area is ideal for that special meal. Moving over to the stylish kitchen, you will see that it is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Exploring this charming property further you will find a light and comfortable double bedroom, complete with a useful en-suite shower and WC.

Heading outside you will find an attractive patio area behind the property, equipped with garden furniture and BBQ so you can dine al fresco. In the evenings you could sit back in the fabulous private hot tub. There is off-road parking available for one car.

Amazing break away. Property is extremely clean & very modern. Has everything you need for a break away. Located in Cinderford you have shops just down the road & some lovey walks around. 100% recommend this place.

The cottage is spotlessly clean, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. We felt very welcomed; the provision of tea, coffee, milk and wine was appreciated. This property was really clean and relaxing. It was well maintained by the owners, the hot tub was an amazing treat especially at the end of a hot day slipping into it to relax. The property is right on the edge of the forest which meant easy access to activities and walks.

Perfect location for the many places to visit.the lodge was spotlessly clean and we found everything we needed,we were made welcome by Lisa who left a bottle of water and some milk to start us off.The hot tub is lovely to relax in after long days of walking etc.We would recommend and hope to return one day .

Highly recommend this property. It is a good location for travels throughout the Forest of Dean. It is very well presented and fitted out. The wood burner was on on our arrival which made it very cosy. The glorious weather meant we didn't need it the rest of the week. The hot tub is glorious after a hard days walking.

The lodge was well equipped and very nice, however it seemed that it was close to the neighbours and this was not displayed in the photos on the website. We did also feel over looked and had little privacy in the hot tub.

We really enjoyed our stay in Naiper cottage. It was spotlessly clean, spacious & had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was wonderful- especially after a long cycle in the Forest! The owners were very welcoming & the bottle of wine & milk left for us very thoughtful. Highly recommended!

Place is wonderful, no fault found with it whatsoever. The area is beautiful too, there isnt really anywhere to eat locally (walking distance) which is disappointing but this is something that cant be helped. What an amazing place. The lodge itself was stunning, clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and welcoming. Plenty of amenities to cook/barbecue. The hot tub was so nice to relax in after a long day hiking in the forest. I was so happy to have found this gem. Cant say enough about it. Im telling everyone and hope to return someday.

We stayed at Napier Lodge from Friday to Monday 19th of November. There was a bottle of wine left to welcome us and also milk, tea etc. The lodge was beautifully clean and well equipped. A very quiet place to stay and a good place to use as a base. We didnt use the hot tub but it was ready and towels left just incase we wanted to. Lodge very clean, comfortable and modern. Jacuzzi clean and private. The area was quite and it was lovely to see the deer in the church yard opposite. Lisa and Dan cant do enough for you and are very helpful. Lovely place for couples.
