Nestled in pretty Beaulieu Village high street where donkeys and ponies have right of way over traffic, adding to the charm, This elegant 17th century cottage is ideally located for your next break to The New Forest. There are plenty of amenities on the doorstep from local shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as a wealth of walking routes to discover. You can also easily reach the beaches of the Solent within a forty minute drive if you fancy a day out at the seaside.

Boasting a beautiful country-style kitchen complete with a butler sink, relaxing seating area and all the essentials for preparing a feast, there are also large patio doors leading to a pretty  landscaped garden which is perfect for dining al fresco. The living area is stylish and has access to a courtyard which is a fantastic sun trap mid-afternoon. The living room is great for relaxing and features boutique furnishing which add to the luxurious feel of the property.

Styled with a cottage chic vibe, the three bedrooms ensure peaceful and restful nights. The first floor master bedroom has a zip and link king-size bed, feature fireplace and en-suite with a roll top bath, walk in shower and WC. The second bedroom also boasts a zip and link king-size bed and views over the lane. The third bedroom has one single bed and a pull out bed with plenty of wardrobe space on the main landing. There is a family bathroom with large power shower and WC.

The property’s delightful garden is sited where the monks of Beaulieu’s 13th century monastery originally had their hop garden.

There is free on road parking and a parking permit is available for one car in the village car park.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at The Saddlery. The cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and well equipped. The owners even left a parking ticket for our use, which we used in nearby Milford on Sea (lovely sea views across to the Needles). We had a lovely week in The Saddlery with our son and his family. It was so good that I booked for a week next summer before we left ! The house has character as well as being comfortable and spacious and the garden is delightful. Great little village with an excellent cafe in the garden centre. Lovely place perfectly located in the centre of the village, with plenty of activities within a 10 mile radius. The Saddlery is a fantastic place to stay. Really spacious with lovely big garden as well as loads of space inside. Being January when we stayed it was freezing! But the log fires soon warmed the place and made it really cosy. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of modern bits but still retains the lovely quaint old style. located in the mRead moreiddle of the high street, its perfect to see the village and motor museum etc. Montys Inn just on the corner was a great spot for dinner. The property is of a very high quality and in a fantastic location right on the High Street in Beaulieu, just steps away from the Montagu Arms. The walk along to Bucklers Hard is one of the most beautiful I have done in the New Forest. Fantastic place to stay as a base for exploring all the New Forest and beyond has to offer. Facilities great and space to move around. If you are 6ft or over you will need to duck through doorways everywhere bar the modern kitchen/diner area so may not be for some. Great places to eat on all budgets within walking distance. Rent this cottage immediately. Fabulous location. He home and furnishings were amazingly beautiful and the garden was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Cosy beds too! All in all a perfect holiday!

This is a lovely old cottage right in the heart of Beaulieu. It has crooked floors and plenty of olde worlde charm! For a property on the high street, it has a surprisingly large garden. Parking was a bit tricky during the day but after all the visitors had gone for the day, it was always possible to park right outside.
