Property needed a lot sorting out. Lamps not working, rat droppings in hoover cupboard, shower overflowing and not draining away fast enough, lever constantly falling off shower. Ridiculous lip on parking ramp. Wanted to ask for some money back but was too tired after a very long delayed journey and I dont see why I should have to telephone maintenRead moreance number with such a list of unacceptable problems. We had a lovely time in Appledore, lovely gift shops and cafes. We had a lovely meal in the Royal George . We thought the cottage was really sweet and very well equipped but the cottage being cold was miserable. I would recommend the property to a relatively fit person as there are steep steps to the rear of the property.

We hugely enjoyed our stay, property felt like you were at your own holiday home with absolutely everything wanted and needed available. The garden was a brilliant bonus for our Boston Terrier to have a wee on the bushes without having to go out on streets or a drangway like a lot of properties in Appledore, and was a lovely sun trap. The parking sRead morepace is also a huge bonus in Appledore and snugly fitted our Mini Countryman. Steep stairs & steps in garden should be considered when booking. Hide
