Really quaint cottage in a beautiful area. Had a lovely relaxing time. Log burner got a lot of use and made the evenings so cosy. Everything we could wish for in a cottage break.

Absolutely lovely place, cosy but comfortable. Youlgreave itself is a charming village and there are a couple of excellent walks on the doorstep as well as two shops, three very pleasant pub / hotels and a fine church.

We were looking for a cosy hideaway for a couple of days and this cottage was perfect. We loved being in the centre of such a beautiful village and it was great to light the fire in the evening. It was our little dog's first holiday and she felt perfectly at home. There was nothing in this cottage that indicated that it was Covid-secure. No bleach in loo, no antibacterial kitchen cleaner, very old and used bedding, and towels. The kitchen has an old piece of a wooden work surface that is being used as a chopping board; it was badly scoured and had black mildew on the underside. There were very old and badly Read morestained cooking dishes. We cleaned the outside. The sitting room in this cottage is sweet and as seen on the pictures, except for one patch of damp. Hide

Lovely quaint little cottage which is well equipped and situated in an excellent location with good walks on the doorstep making it an excellent base for an adventurous break. We loved our time there, especially sitting in front of the log burner of an evening after a lengthy walk, the dogs also loved it!

The cottage is quaint but was spacious enough for two of us and two dogs. We ate out mainly so the kitchen was fine for our needs. The village has lovely dog friendly pubs, and theres also a bakery/cafe. Beds were really comfy and shower OK.
