This sympathetically converted barn presents a pleasant spacious and airy one-storey holiday let, perfect for family holidays, a reunion of friends or special occasions spent in the Kent and Sussex countryside.

Located in an idyllic position at the end of a lane, this property benefits from the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is an abundance of walks on the doorstep, along with several nearby villages and towns offering traditional English pub lunches. The popular spa town of Tunbridge Wells is nearby, which boasts a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.

Leave your coats and boots in the entrance hall and continue through to the main living area. This spacious and bright area features a terracotta tiled floor, high ceiling, spot lighting and French windows opening to the garden. In the kitchen you will find a single oven and electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with ice compartment. Dine at the handmade oval table overlooking the fields outside before retreating to the cosy sitting area for the rest of the evening. Here there are two comfortable sofas and an armchair, perfect for unwinding in front of the cosy wood burner. In the built-in cupboards you will find a selection of books, DVDs, games and TV/DVD player to make use of throughout your stay. Two steps down from the hall is the spacious master suite has a king-size bed, with a comfortable sofa, TV, en-suite shower with large shower cubicle and WC, and French windows opening out to a private patio area overlooking the fields. There is also a twin bedroom with built-in cupboards, mirrors and an en-suite wet room with shower and WC, plus a bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside on the large brick paved patio area there is a round cafe-style table to seat six. Here you can enjoy summer BBQs and morning coffees overlooking the stunning fields and woodland beyond.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The Stables is in a very peaceful location with countryside views all round. It is comfortably equipped and fitted with high- end furnishings. There are walks from the door. Dogs are welcome. One of the nicest holiday cottages we have stayed in.

Perfect location for quiet relaxing days. Accommodation was spacious, clean, lots of mod-cons. Lots of interesting walks literally out of the front door. Ideal for families with a dog.

Outstanding property predominantly on one level (master double has two shallow steps). Excellent conversion with high spec interior. The view from the property in wonderful with walks from the doorstep. Very rural, peaceful setting.

We had a fantastic stay at the Stables in July. It's a great location, so close to Tunbridge Wells and easy access to London by train - but blissfully quiet and relaxing. Our two boys loved the big garden to play in and walks locally. The house is spacious and has everything we needed, we'd definitely recommend a stay here!

Fabulous house. Would recommend and also book again. Great for those with mobility problems - all but one room on the flat. Walk in shower, normal shower and a bath that can take a bath bench.

Lovely place. I almost don't want to praise it as there's a risk it won't be available when we want to stay again! Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere remote eg no mobile signal. Perfect if you have a dog - fully enclosed garden and walks direct from the property. Good for accessibility with a wet room and level access. All on one flooRead morer. Very well equipped.
