Penmachno is a traditional quiet village with a pub and cycle trail centre, and is close to Sarn Helen. There are many fantastic walks and cycle trails right from the door. This lovely cottage is ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia National Park, home to Wales' largest peak, Mount Snowdon. Nearby Betws-y-Coed is a fantastic base for adventure training, and offers a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and a host of outdoor activities. Discover Surf Snowdonia with its wave surf lagoon, Zip World Caverns with one of the longest zip wires in Europe and Bounce Below, a trampoline park set in an underground cavern. You can visit National Trust Bodnant Garden, Conwy Castle or take a trip on the steam railway.

On entering this charming and traditional stone cottage, you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With comfy seating, Smart TV, DVD and a cosy wood burner.The light and airy lounge is a welcoming space, ideal for snuggling up in and relaxing at the end of the day. You will also find a charming and bright dining area, also with a wood burner, and the attractively designed kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay including an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, slow cooker, fridge and washer/dryer. Going upstairs, you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There’s a comfy king size room with smart TV and a cosy bunkbed room with additional single bed. You will also find a shower room and a separate WC.

Stepping outside, you can relax and unwind after a fabulous day in the enclosed, south-facing garden with table and chair set and BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining. Lockable storage space is available for bikes and canoes.

Compact and comfortable cottages with all necessary amenities for a family of 5 (+ dog). Kitchen is well stocked with pans, plates and utensils for your all of your vacation cooking.

Beautiful cottage in small friendly village. It has been thoughtfully decorated and equipped and we felt at home there. The cottage was very clean and we enjoyed the welcome pack. The owner clearly loves this property and the area. The equipment and accessories are all good quality. Everything works as expected. We had a really fantastic week! Views from the cottage were stunning and a great location for walks out. Dogs had a fantastic time too! And really enjoyed the treats. Cottage owner was helpful and on call when needed.

Sarn Cottage is well equipped and had everything we required in a cottage. We found it clean on arrival and there was a well stocked welcome basket and milk in the fridge. The garden was secure and a safe place for our dogs. It is well situated to explore the local area, including the beaches of North Wales which were only 40 minutes away. We had a lovely week in Sarn Cottage, Thoroughly recommend staying there as its within easy reach of most outdoor activities. Well equipped kitchen, 2nd bedroom on small side and no storage but did have a single and bunk beds, Dogs loved the garden!

Lovely warm cottage in a good area, spotless and everything you need. Enclosed garden for dogs but it is a shared path between house and garden which was fine for a calm dog .

Great standard of comfort and equipment. Plenty of space to cook eat and relax. Thoughtfully planned. Lovely welcome pack and attentive host. Garden and view is lovely. Lack of onsite parking may be an issue for some but 3 people, 3 dogs and a baby with all the attendant baggage coped easily!

We had a fantastic time, and definitely expect to return in the future. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, and responsive whenever we email minor clarification questions (even around Xmas!). Location is excellent to see so much of Snowdonia and the owners have thought of everything. Dogs were truly welcomed, an amazing basket of treats for humans and canines, and lovely touches throughout the cottage.
