This is a perfect family retreat situated in a desirable location in North Devon, within walking distance of the glorious sandy beach of Instow.

This charming property is situated within walking distance of the spectacular sandy beach of Instow. Within the village you will find a wealth of fine pubs, cafés and restaurants. If you fancy a change of scenery, why not visit Woolacombe, Croyde or one of the many other sandy beaches that help make North Devon such a popular destination? Nearby Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge, has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, amusements and also a championship golf course. Local market towns including Ilfracombe and Bideford are well worth visiting, and there are many other attractions including The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and Lundy Island.

On entering this delightful property you will find yourself in the spacious and vibrant lounge. Patio doors lead onto the terrace area which boasts river views. Heading into the bright and airy kitchen/diner, you will find an ideal dining area.The elegant kitchen is equipped with everything you may need including electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Exploring further, there’s a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer. The ground floor also offers a drying room, with wet suits hanging rail, and a wet room with double shower. There is also a ground-floor WC. Going up to the first floor you will find four comfy bedrooms. There’s a super-king-size with en-suite shower and WC, and a king-size with en-suite bath and WC. Both of these rooms offer great river views. You will find a comfortable twin room and a cosy bunk bedroom. There’s also a bathroom complete with WC. Moving up to the second floor you will find a twin bedroom with en-suite WC and bath. Stepping outside, you can relax at the end of a great day in the large enclosed rear garden and terrace area with river views, garden furniture, BBQ and fire pit, or enjoy the stunning views from the balcony. Off-road parking is available for three cars.

Superb holiday rental in a great location with big views across to Appledore and the Torridge estuary. The house is a triumphant blend of tasteful presentation, thoughtful practicality and all creature comforts. Our group enjoyed the contemporary decor, the open plan kitchen / diner, the toasty heating (in Feb), the relaxing lounging spaces, the fuRead morelly equipped kitchen and the decent internet connection.
