Cosy cottage situated in a quiet part of West Cornwall, close to the coast with plenty of opportunity for exploring this beautiful county.

This property is surrounded by farmland and enjoys a tranquil location, despite being close to many of Cornwall’s main attractions, including The Eden Project, St Ives with its Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, and the town of Newquay with its surf schools and several National Trust Properties. The nearby town of St Agnes is a real gem, with its four beaches, opportunities to try coasteering and canoeing, and its thriving collection of independent shops. Cyclists will also love to explore the Portreath Devoran Tramway, just two minutes from the property, connecting to the Camel Trail and the old tin mines.

This one-bedroomed cottage is a cosy retreat for couples and has several period features, including the exposed beamed ceilings. The main living area is on the ground floor and has a quaint cottagey feel. There is a TV, DVD, and electric fire in the lounge area, which also has a fold-out dining table. The kitchen area has a more contemporary feel, and is light and airy with an oven, hob, fridge, and microwave. The property’s shower room with WC is also on the ground floor, whilst the double bedroom, with sloping ceiling, is situated on the first floor and is accessed by an open-tread staircase.

Outside, the property benefits from a small seating area by the front door and, additionally, shared use of the owner’s large garden. There is ample off-road parking. Guests may bring up to 3 dog by arrangement, and at an extra fee per dog of £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Sandra and Barry , the owners , are lovely people , we had no issues but certainly im sure , nothing would be a problem, a lovely QUIET !! rural setting .. totally what 2 city hospital nurses needed . Very central for St Ives , Truro, Perranporth... St Agnes .. Deffinately will be going back ... Lastly !!! .... theres a slow cooker !!! I was made uRead morep ... This is a querkie little cottage set in a quiet country location central for all of Cornwall, you have all you need for a relaxing break and the owner couldn't have been more obliging.

Beautiful cottage in a great location. If you want to be immersed in a traditional cottage this is the one for you! Sandra and Barry were lovely and gave us great recommendations!
