Well placed and just 6 miles from Shrewsbury the ancient medieval market town of Shropshire which is brimming with over 600 listed buildings including the castle and world-famous Abbey. Church Stretton an excellent base for the country lover and sportsman alike with walking and cycling for all abilities. For enthusiastic golfers The Shreswbury Golf Club is just 2 miles away. Much Wenlock a stunningly beautiful historic town, birthplace of the modern Olympian movement and many unique shops, tea rooms, a 12th century priory and museum. National Trust properties to include Chirk and Powis Castles, Erddig and Attingham Park with beautiful grounds and gardens.

On entering the property, you will find a lounge with TV and DVD player. Also, on the ground level there is a kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer box with the added benefit of a utility room with washing machine and separate WC. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms 1 super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and another super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request)  with TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside benefits from a patio area with garden furniture. There is off-road parking for 2 cars. 1 dog welcome.

We had a lovely stay at this delightful cottage in the heart of a rural village. It was very quiet and the secluded garden was lovely to sit in for morning coffee or afternoon tea. It was well situated for touring the area, and there is plenty to see and do. Would most definitely recommend this property.
