Property advertised for 8, which would be too cramped; ideal for the 2 of us, plus dog. Warm and cosy in November. Excellent site, lots of interest. Hotel and bar opposite are convenient.

Beautiful location with picturesque views of the river and boats. The cottage was lovely, very comfortable and warm. The wood burner in the lounge was great and made it very homely! A lovely cottage in a perfect location, right in the heart of a living museum. More than enough to see and do in the New Forest, and we hardly scratched the surface in a week's holiday. Cottage is serviced by the hotel opposite, whose staff are excellent and caring.

Booked the cottage as a special treat for my 50th birthday & it was perfect in every way. Great location & found some lovely walks to take the 2 dogs. Enjoyed lots of time playing games in front of the log burner & had a couple of lovely meals in the Master Builders. Definitely would recommend to friends & family & would love to go back to stay.
