This stylish 16th Century terraced cottage enjoys a superb location in the heart of the picturesque historic village of Winchcombe, offering a host of fantastic walks and places to see.

The charming village of Winchcombe is an ideal destination for keen walkers and anyone who loves the outdoors. You can explore a wealth of beautiful walks across nearby Cleeve Hill and throughout the Cotswolds. You could take a trip to the lovely village of Broadway with its wide street lined with a mix of Tudor, Stuart and Georgian buildings, or go to the races at Cheltenham or Stratford-upon-Avon. Cheltenham also hosts the famous Literature Festival, while Stratford is of course the home of all things Shakespearean. Prescott Speed Hill Climb hold motoring events, and you can take a trip on the fantastic Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway, or visit the beautiful Sudeley Castle and Gardens.

On entering this cosy and attractive cottage, you will find yourself in the warmly inviting open-plan lounge/diner. With traditional wood burner and exposed beams, the lounge is a comfy and welcoming space and an attractive mix of traditional and contemporary styles, complete with TV / DVD. From the adjacent dining area you can head into the stylish kitchen, which you will find is well-equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a ground-floor WC. Heading up to the first floor, you will find two bedrooms. There’s a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) and a double room. You will also find a small nursery room with cot. There is a first-floor bathroom, complete with bath, separate shower and WC.

Moving outside, you can relax or enjoy an al fresco meal in the charming furnished enclosed courtyard to the rear of the property. Roadside parking is available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great location for shops, walking and pubs/cafes. Cottage was warm and cosy, and there was no noise from the pub next door.

Lovely cozy cottage in centre of town. Cheap car park 2 mins walk away. Everything you need, clean and warm. Good central heating for winters break with great shower and plenty of hot water. Local shops literally on the doorstep.

Lovely, spacious character cottage which is ideally located in Winchcombe. Great location to access the numerous restaurants, pubs, and shops. Very good car park a few minutes away, which is excellent value. The cottage was very cosy and well equipped. Ideal for a short or long stay.

Cosy and comfortable cottage. Full of character but with up to date facilities so in essence the best of both worlds. Fully equipped so you can cook if you want to but fabulous little town with great places to eat. Superb local walks and accept warm welcome from everyone we met.

We stayed for 4 nights over the Christmas period. The cottage was warm, cosy and clean. There was a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and logs and kindling for the wood burner. In the kitchen we found mince pies, Stollen and a Panetonne. The kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were warm and beds were very comfortable. Lovely cottage in a lovely village, but not quiet. Beware if looking for a peaceful holiday as early morning noise starts at 5am - cars starting, 7.30 delivery to the pub, and it continues through to late at night. (The bedrooms are at the front.) Otherwise its very well equipped and comfortable.

No. 41 is ideally situated in the heart of Winchcombe, within easy walking distance of several pubs and eateries. A charming cottage, ideal for the two of us, though may be a little snug for four occupants. Good wifi and a top quality bath and shower, with plentiful hot water. The cottage provided a fantastic base. We were literally next door to the pub ( no noise issues) which we frequented. The Coop and the bakers were also across the road, the bakers were great for easy breakfast, picnic fayre, and generally yummy thing. Winchcombe is not a place I had heard of before but great location for walks on the doorstep but cRead moreentral for lots of places to visit. Great location,good shower and well equipped shower. Negatives were black mold on shower head and shower/taps. Garden not really secluded. Living room looked tired and some areas needed more of a clean.Overall impression is areas could do with a bit more TLC.
