Sue and Les the owners were very friendly and because you were on part of a farm it made our visit more interesting. We watched the calves being fed one afternoon which was nice. Les was very forthcoming with where to go and what to avoid which helped a great deal.

We have stayed at many single bedroom cottages and this was the best so far. The family are lovely and seeing the cows milked and the calves fed was super. The cottage was lovely and warm and the water hot and plentiful. We hope to go back.

A lovely base for a holiday to Devon. You need to drive to get anywhere but we were driving to lots of different places anyway so didn't bother us. Would recommend Instow, Appledore, Braunton burrows, Woolacombe and Croyde. The Bell inn too. The cottage is small and cosy but the bedroom is big and the garden is ideal for the dog. The farm is fab asRead more we were able to walk the dog in any of the empty fields. We also got involved with some farm jobs and met the new calves! Thanks for a lovely stay. Hide
