This charming cottage is located on a 200-acre working dairy farm, set within peaceful countryside surroundings, and is ideally located for enjoying a relaxing rural holiday in North Devon.

Although surrounded by countryside, you’ll only be 15 minutes away from the coast. The sandy beaches and surfing waves of Westward Ho! Woolacombe and Saunton are all within easy reach by car. Located three miles from the Atlantic Highway, you will also have easy access to a whole range of popular attractions including the Big Sheep, the Milky Way and Dartington Crystal. In nearby Bideford and Torrington you’ll find their famous Pannier Markets and good pubs, shops and restaurants. If you feel like exploring on two wheels, you can hire bikes and cycle traffic free on the disused railway track, the Tarka Trail, stopping on the way at one of the many cafes or pubs.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The spacious lounger/diner offers a TV/DVD, hi-fi and wood burner – the owners provide the first basked of logs for you. There is also a separate WC and underfloor heating to keep you warm and cosy. The two bedrooms can be found upstairs and both enjoy far-reaching countryside views. They consist of a king-size room with TV, en-suite shower and WC, and a twin room with zip-and-link twin beds, which can be made up as a double upon request. A bathroom with shower over bath and WC is located opposite the twin room.

The cottage is warm and very clean. Comfortable furniture. The setting is idyllic but within easy reach of local towns and coast. Beaches are great for dogs to play on. I would highly recommend this cottage and the milk from their cows is wonderful.

The cottage is located on a farm and has fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. The cottage itself is a real home from home, very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Sue and her husband were extremely welcoming and we made firm friends with Max the dog.

We had a fantastic time here. Sue and Les were extremely welcoming, as was Max . The property was very clean especially with current circumstances in mind. The property is secluded so if you don't have a car maybe not the best idea, but we loved it and Westward Ho! Instow, Appledore etc are only a short drive away.

Lovely spacious cottage. Perfect location for dog walks and to enjoy the rolling countryside of Devon. Very friendly owners. 10 minute drive to Westward Ho! beach - great for surfing, body boarding or just walking on the expanse of sandy beach. Great for dogs at the far end, past the Lifeboat station. This well equipped and comfortable cottage is set in beautiful countryside. Hearing the cows low and owls hooting at night rooted us firmly into the lovely farming location and the young calves grew so quickly during our week's stay. The cottage was perfect for our needs.
