Devon barn conversion just on the outskirts of one of the most picturesque villages in Devon, beautifully restored combining a contemporary style and period features. Promising a lavish retreat.

Nearby to this beautifully restored cottage is the cliff side village of Clovelly, with its whitewashed cottages and winding cobbled street down the hillside to the harbour where pubs, shops and restaurants can be enjoyed. Hartland, boasts a selection of craft and pottery shops, cafes, restaurants as well as some of the most spectacular coastline views in the British Isles from Hartland Point. Situated a short drive away is the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge. Further afield you have the ever popular town of Bude which boasts a choice of beaches, numerous amenities and a picturesque canal.

The open plan lounge and dining room welcome you in with light tones and a country charm, the modern kitchen is just off this room with similar calming tones. Upstairs the spacious king size bedroom has luxurious linens and a magnificent original beam sweeping across the ceiling. The shower room has a rain forest shower to indulge yourself under.

Outside there is a small private courtyard across the yard at the front of the property which makes a lovely spot to sit and relax or even have a BBQ. You also have access to the owners 8 acres of peaceful grounds including a small lake to enjoy.

This was a really nice cottage which has been tastefully created from an original farm outbuilding. The property is well suited for a couple looking for a base to explore, or just some quite time away from the hustle and bustle.

Our first visit to north Devon in quite a few years and we couldnt have picked a better place to stay, The peace and tranquillity from this cottage, yet it was an excellent location for visiting, Bude,Clovelly,Hartland quay,Ilfracombe and Lynton. Wren cottage is a diamond with all the Cs. Clean,comfortable, cosy. The owners are lovely people who are there if you need them but in no way intrusive. Had a lot of cottage holidays but this is up there with the best.

Stayed in the Wren and found it to be nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable, would recommend this as nice place to stay to explore the area. Anna the owner was very nice and helpful.

Lovely modern converted barn, on a quiet farm. Close to local villages, walks and beaches all within 30 mins by car. Perfect for couples wanting a tranquil escape close to the sea and coastal walks.
