Devon barn conversion just on the outskirts of one of the most picturesque villages in Devon, beautifully restored combining a contemporary style and period features. Promising a lavish retreat.

Nearby to this beautifully restored cottage is the cliff side village of Clovelly, with its whitewashed cottages and winding cobbled street down the hillside to the harbour where pubs, shops and restaurants can be enjoyed. Hartland, boasts a selection of craft and pottery shops, cafes, restaurants as well as some of the most spectacular coastline views in the British Isles from Hartland Point. Situated a short drive away is the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge. Further afield you have the ever popular town of Bude which boasts a choice of beaches, numerous amenities and a picturesque canal.

The open plan lounge and dining room welcome you in with light tones and a country charm, the modern kitchen is just off this room with similar calming tones. Upstairs the spacious king size bedroom has luxurious linens and a magnificent original beam sweeping across the ceiling. The shower room has a rain forest shower to indulge yourself under.

Outside there is a small private courtyard across the yard at the front of the property which makes a lovely spot to sit and relax or even have a BBQ. You also have access to the owners 8 acres of peaceful grounds including a small lake to enjoy.

The Wren was perfect for a romantic get away. The decor and furnishings were beautiful and very high quality. The location was quiet and secluded but close enough to the local village and its amenities.

Beautiful cottage Owned and run by amazing people. Couldn't of asked for a better place to spend our first night as a married couple. So spacious for getting ready the morning before.

This is our second visit and definitely not our last. Rory and Anna are so welcoming. The Wren is the perfect place for escapism and time to relax. We would recommend any of the propertys here to anyone.

We were welcomed by our host Anna who is a charming and helpful hostess. The property was ideal for 2 people. It was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The complimentary eggs from the resident chickens were a nice touch and delicious!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Wren - such a peaceful location and the cottage was petitely perfect! It was spotless, as others have said, and Anna was helpful and friendly. She was also right on hand should there be any problems (there werent!) but we actually felt that we had the farm pretty much to ourselves. The Wren cottage we stayed in for the weekend was beautiful. Looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We were surrounded by beautiful countryside, not much around but the exact get away we needed tagged onto a wedding.
