Complex which comprises of three barns, converted  in 2018. The accommodation offers open plan living/dining and separate kitchen, with two upstairs bedrooms, and one downstairs double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Outside is a large shared courtyard with seating and BBQ. Can be booked as one large property.

Set on the fringes of the delightful Peak District village of Chelmorton, there is a local village pub for kicking off muddy boots and relaxing after a day spent outdoors. The stunning Chatsworth House, Farm Shop and Gardens are a short drive away. The popular towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton provide an array of independent shops, cafes and pubs to enjoy. Surrounded by open fields you will find public footpaths from the doorstep to explore exactly what the stunning Peak District countryside has to offer.

Approached via the sweeping driveway from the road which will lead you to the complex which comprises of three barn conversions and secluded touring caravan pitches. Located to the right hand side of the building you will find the welcoming accommodation. Stepping into the kitchen which boasts everything you need for a comfortable stay such as fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven and dishwasher. The open-plan lounge/diner welcomes you as a retreat to switch off, relax, unwind and enjoy the good company. The space provides comfortable sofas that you won’t want to leave, and a social dining table for everyone to gather round and socialise. The accommodation benefits from two upstairs bedrooms, one double and one twin. These bedrooms share a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A further double bedroom can be found on the ground floor, with en-suite shower room with enclosed shower and WC.

Outside is a large enclosed communal courtyard with ample seating for alfresco dining or BBQ’s. There is plenty of space in the adjacent grass field for more outdoor fun and games and dog walking. The site offers ample off road parking.  There is also a shared games room with a pool table for all to enjoy.

Unfortunately the shared games room will be closed due to the amount of shared equipment such as pool cues.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We were delighted to be able to book a stay at very short notice after S Wales went into lockdown. The cottage is very well equipped and beautifully furnished and was a perfect base for 3 of us and our 2 retrievers. Theres a large enclosed grassy area for dog exercising and we found a good dog walk across fields straight from the front door. We alsRead moreo loved the 3 alpacas in the neighbouring field! A really lovely, well equipped cottage in a superb location. The only downside is the sloping ceilings upstairs, particularly the bathroom, but that can't be helped in a building of its style. If you're tall, then claim the downstairs en-suite! : ) I'd also like to give a shout out to the local pub, the food is excellent and the quiz night (on MondRead moreays) made for a fun and friendly night.
