The area is great for cycling, with mountain bike centres and National cycle trails nearby with bike hire and delivery available too. Just 4 miles from the market town of Crickhowell with the River Usk flowing by and a number of good independent traders, 5 miles from the larger town of Abergavenny with September food festival and year round great local eateries and 30 minutes from either Brecon, with its Cathedral and traditional Welsh heritage, or Hay-on-Wye of International fame for its numerous book shops and annual literary festival. Games facilities: with pool table, darts board, TV and PlayStation 3.
The entrance to the cottage leads into the spacious and warm, open plan kitchen /lounge /dining room with wood burner (first baskets of logs included), TV and DVD. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a downstairs WC and a fantastic games room, with pool table, darts board, TV and PlayStation 3. A recent addition is the pinball machine, so you will have plenty of entertainment!
Upstairs you will find a hallway leading to three bedrooms. The master is a king-size with additional pull out bed, next door is a full size bathroom and shower. There is another large king-size bedroom and a double bedroom with additional single bed. There is also a separate shower room, with shower and another separate WC on the first floor.
Outside is a beautiful wildlife/ insect friendly enclosed garden and terrace, with garden furniture in summer months and charcoal BBQ.
One well behaved dog is welcome, on ground floor only, and please note this is a working farm with sheep and horses around. Please note any interaction with the animals must only be done with the permission and supervision of the owners and it might not always be appropriate. Please only let your dog loose in the enclosed garden, otherwise please keep on a lead.
