There’s a good choice of fabulous local walks so bring the dog, they’ll love it. Many National Trust properties and gardens are on the doorstep including Hidcote Manor a short drive away. Drive to Moreton-in-Marsh train station for a leisurely journey to Oxford or London not forgetting the beautiful cathedral city of Hereford at the other end of the line.

On arrival at the property you will find a useful entrance hall for wellies and coats. The lounge/diner is very welcoming with ample seating, a TV/DVD/video. There is also a dining table with space for four diners. The spacious kitchen looks out into the garden and comes equipped with a brand new electric hob and oven, a microwave, washing machine and a fridge/freezer. Upstairs are the bedrooms, a double and a twin. Nearby is a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and WC for convenience.

Outside is a lovely, fenced, partially decked garden to the rear that has been landscaped to create a restful retreat with furniture, ideal for an early morning cup of tea. To the rear of the cottage is open countryside and to the front lies an open grassed area with private allocated parking opposite the front door.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect tranquil sleepy village. It is perfectly quiet away from any main roads. It was so nice to sit at the tables and chairs in the garden and just listen to the nature, away from modern life. Myself and my wife felt privileged and were sad to leave at the end. We would definitely recommend this cottage Read morefor anybody seeking the true Cotswolds experience. Thank you so much to Sue for the stay and for making it so clean when we arrived. Hide

A nice enough cottage in a lovely village but lack of logs (enough for a very small short fire) when the fire is the main source of heating.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village. Didn't realize how far it was from the main town of Moreton. Would have liked to be able to walk there. But all in all very nice place to stay.
