This cosy end-terraced cottage retains much of its original charm and character and is a perfect Cotswolds destination for a family holiday.

Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The town’s past can be appreciated by looking at the period cottages, traditional buildings and the once used 'stocks' on the green. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry, it is now home to many antique shops, galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town, visit Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest.

Enter the cottage through the spacious hall with WC. The cosy lounge has ample comfortable seating, woodburner effect electric fire and TV/DVD and Wi-Fi. The kitchen/diner leads from the hall and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a dining table for four to enjoy a meal together. Upstairs you will find  two bedrooms – the master bedroom with king size bed , the second, a twin. Nearby, is the bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Adjoining the house is a utility room that houses a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

The cottage is the end terrace of three positioned away from the road and has a suntrap garden which catches the afternoon sun, perfect for relaxing on the patio enjoying a quiet drink in the afternoon or evening. There is free off road parking for one car by arrangement with the owner prior to arrival..

This is a lovely cottage with available parking on the roadside opposite. The kitchen is well-equipped & both bedrooms are nicely furnished. The living area is comfortable & cosy. The shower is a little small, but adequate & works well, & there is also a bath. It's an easy walk into Stow & handy for other places to visit by car in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Sycamore Cottage. A home from home, really comfortable and very well equipped. An easy walk into the town. Being at the end of the terrace it was very quiet. Jayne organised a parking space which was very thoughtful since parking on Back Walls can be a slight issue. An excellent and ideal base for a tour around Read morethe Cotswolds. Plus a very pleasant neighbour who was helpful with regard to interesting places to visit. Thank you. Hide

We had a lovely week long stay. The accomodation was clean and had everything we practically needed. It was more spacious than some of the other places we had been at. Would definitely reccomend and come back.

We loved this cottage! Although we initially struggled to find the car park space, we found all the instructions clear and precise. The cottage is tucked at the end of a row and feels very secluded. Once inside it is well equipped and tastefully furnished. Its a short walk into the centre of Stow for some lovely shops and restaurants. The only downRead moreside was the traffic during the day on the road at the side of the cottage. A lovely cottage central to a lot of places. Hide

We stayed here with our two young children and had an enjoyable stay. The cottage was warm and cosy to come back to after our many wet and windy walks! The cottage is within easy reach of Stows cafes, pubs and shops some of which sold local produce which was lovely to buy. Also a great position for driving easily to nearby areas such as Crickley hiRead morell, Broadway & the Cotswolds water park. Only thing that could be changed in our opinion is to have some new sofas in the lounge. Hide
