This cosy end-terraced cottage retains much of its original charm and character and is a perfect Cotswolds destination for a family holiday.

Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The town’s past can be appreciated by looking at the period cottages, traditional buildings and the once used 'stocks' on the green. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry, it is now home to many antique shops, galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town, visit Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest.

Enter the cottage through the spacious hall with WC. The cosy lounge has ample comfortable seating, woodburner effect electric fire and TV/DVD and Wi-Fi. The kitchen/diner leads from the hall and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a dining table for four to enjoy a meal together. Upstairs you will find  two bedrooms – the master bedroom with king size bed , the second, a twin. Nearby, is the bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Adjoining the house is a utility room that houses a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

The cottage is the end terrace of three positioned away from the road and has a suntrap garden which catches the afternoon sun, perfect for relaxing on the patio enjoying a quiet drink in the afternoon or evening. There is free off road parking for one car by arrangement with the owner prior to arrival..

This really is s delightful cottage. Very convenient for the town and surrounding Cotswold villages. Parking and access are fine. It's very comfortable, well appointed and roomy, but only for 2 people I feel. If it were 4 people it is big enough but it may depend on how long you spend in or out! Not a fault though as everything is provided and moreRead more, and though it was partly work on this occasion for myself, it was very relaxing and very comfortable and I look forward to returning. Sycamore Cottage is in a lovely position at the end of a terrace of 3. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The only criticism we have is that the sofas really need to be replaced.

Nice cottage in a excellent, quiet location, only a short walk to the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold. It included a allocated parking space at a nearby cottage which was great. The host sounded extremely friendly and helpful on the phone and when we arrived at the cottage there was milk, wine and a cake waiting for us which was a lovely touch.
