This stylish house is conveniently situated on the A352 which is the main access route to Wareham in the east and Dorchester in the west. Whichever direction you take the coast and an abundance of unspoilt countryside is never far away, making this an ideal property for those wishing to tour this unique county, with iconic landmarks such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove only minutes away. Just next door is a garage and well stocked farm shop for those essential supplies. If you’re feeling energetic, you will find this picturesque area has an abundance of pretty towns and villages, ideal for walking and cycling.

From the off-road parking area, accessed via the garage forecourt, a slope and set of steps lead you to the front door, where you are met by a spacious hallway leading to a twin bedroom, double doors open from this room onto a pretty veranda that wraps around the house. Further along the hallway is a cosy lounge with wood burner, TV and DVD, the ideal spot for relaxing after a day spent exploring. Opposite the lounge is a contemporary bathroom, with a shower over the bath and a WC. At the end of the hallway is a stylish kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. The dining area is bright and airy with double doors opening onto the garden. A staircase rises from the hallway and leads to two king-size bedrooms, both with en-suite shower and WC (please note one en-suite has limited headroom).

Venturing outside you will find a large patio with garden furniture and a BBQ. Located directly outside the kitchen/diner, it’s the perfect spot for outdoor dining. A small lawn and veranda wraps around the property.

Such a beautiful cottage, bright, clean and great for our dogs. It had everything and more, even a coffee machine! The White House is a lovely property, and very well located being halfway between Weymouth and Lulworth. It was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped, the owners had thought of everything. We had a bit of a struggle trying to change channels with the four TV controls provided. The house was lovely. A lot of thought had gone into everything & the owners had gone that extra mile to supply a few basics that would be needed on arrival. Absolutly brilliant. Will definitely stay again.

Second time we have stayed here and we cant fault it at all. Brilliant location. Not noisy at all (like some people have commented) The kitchen is fantastic, has more equipment than I do at home. We really enjoyed our stay in the White House, the welcome pack & flowers, even a biscuit bone for the dog, were a lovely touch & much appreciated. If you are looking for a peaceful cottage in the countryside, this is NOT for you. This cottage is on the forecourt of a petrol station (you drive across the forecourt to get on the drive) and on the other side there is a car workshop. A truly lovely place to stay, very clean and everything had been thought of to make our stay comfortable. Fully enclosed garden for our dogs which was completely safe. We have just returned from a week staying at The White House. It is a lovely property, very spacious, airy and clean. The garden was supberb for all three of our dogs and plenty of space for them to play. Great garden for the dogs, safe and secure. Lovely house with just about everything you could need in the kitchen. Comfortable beds. Loved the doors opening out into the garden from the kitchen, great when the weather was so hot.

Clean and well equipped cottage with its own drive and lovely garden which was dog secure with six foot high fences. The busy road was a drawback owing to excessive noise. A good base for visiting lots of local areas. Poole, Sandbanks, Poole harbour and Upton Park which was dog and disabled friendly, were favourites. So convenient for all Dorset has to offer. So handy having the garage right there for the odd bits and pieces, and newspapers. The house is so well stocked even Sky TV, very safe for the doggies, milk and cake on arrival. the road is noisy but we expected that so don't complain.. highly recommended...

Lovely place to stay, dont be put off the house being by the petrol station, you really cant hear them and in the evening the are closed. House is 15 minutes from Weymouth beach and approximately 20 minutes from Dorchester. Local walks for dogs is great. Lovely time, thank you
