This beautifully finished traditional stone cottage with its clever mix of both old and new is the perfect base to enjoy what the Cotswolds has to offer.

Bloxham is a beautiful village in northern Oxfordshire which benefits from a selection of pubs, village shop, fish and chip shop and other amenities within walking distance from the property. Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, just 3 miles from the busy market town of Banbury, home of the famous Banbury Cross mentioned in the well-known nursery rhyme, it's a perfect place to explore. Discover the history and heritage at the nearby Hook Norton Brewery's visitor centre, just under 7 miles away. There is something for everyone to do, with Bicester Village shopping outlet, with its array of designer shops, Silverstone race track, home of the British Grand Prix, famous Blenheim Palace with all year round events or just explore the grounds, and the traditionally English towns and villages of the Cotswolds on the doorstep, including Chipping Norton, Woodstock,Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. A little further afield is the university city of Oxford, with all its historic buildings, architecture and museums.

Step back in time, entering from the pretty courtyard into the beautifully presented lounge of this traditional honey coloured stone cottage, with contemporary seating and soft furnishings that  further enhance the character. Relax with the Smart TV and Netflix for a cosy night in, after supper in the dining area just off the lounge. The bespoke well equipped kitchen is just perfect for cooking your favourite meals with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Heading up the cottage style stairs you will find two bedrooms, a double and a twin. On this floor you will also find a bathroom with shower over bath and a WC.

This quaint cottage sits within the courtyard of the neighbouring pub and offers use of the communal gardens with seating. There is off-road parking for 2 cars.

Brilliant size and layout of cottage rooms both the bedrooms are a good size with plenty of space plenty of hangers and there is a hairdryer in each room beds are comfortable. Welcome basket on arrival with tea, coffee, cereal,milk, jam etc. Cottage is in a great location and easy to get to Chipping Norton, Banbury and easy links yo M40. The Elephant Cottage is perfect. Probably the BEST welcome pack we've ever received. Tasteful decor helped us ease into a relaxed holiday. We all commented on the comfort level of the beds! Amazing! This is a lovely cottage, well equipped and comfortable. The brewery tour was a lovely bonus and well worth doing and the welcome pack, the best we have ever received, It was well thought out and was a fantastic bonus, which started our break off so well!

Really comfortable, cosy and well-equipped cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was easy to contact and helpful if needed Guess the surrounding area might be noisier in the summer when patrons of the pub sit outside but it wasn't an issue in the winter at all.

A great little cottage in the really the pretty village of Bloxham, the cottage was really clean,well equipped and cosy. We would stay there again if visiting that area. Location is good with a couple of pubs, a co-op, fish and chip shop all within a 2 minutes walk. We visited Silverstone Museum, Banbury, Waddesdon Manor, Upton House, Great Tew, BiRead morecester whilst we were there. The free Hook Norton Brewery tour included in our stay was the best Brewery tour we have been on. Hide

To anyone who would like to stay in the Cotswolds stay here. The central location makes it great for exploring. The decor felt modern and fresh. The best part is after a day out it is incredibly welcoming to come back to a cottage that is attached to a homely welcoming pub. Additionally, the cottage owners touches were incredibly welcoming. Lovely old cottage with quality refurb. Good double and twin bedrooms. Modern bathroom. Cosy living area and well equipped kitchen. Perfect for two people or family of four. Would stay again.
