Cleeve Prior is a small village in the Vale of Evesham on Worcestershire/Warwickshire border, offering easy access into Stratford-upon-Avon Shakespeare’s birthplace and Bidford upon Avon. A perfect base for enthusiastic walkers with direct access to the open countryside along with Chipping Campden home to the starting point of the Cotswold Way. A little further south the heart of the Cotswolds with many traditional villages and market towns to include Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold. This area is also well served by the National Trust with properties and gardens to include Blenheim Palace, Ann Hathaway’s house and gardens and Hidcote Manor and Gardens to name but a few.
Pass through the cottage gate and down pathway to your own covered front door, the entrance hall is both spacious and inviting with room for walking boots, coats and hats, into the spacious cottage lounge with exposed beams and low ceiling at points. A feature inglenook fireplace further enhances your evenings in watching a good DVD. With easy access into a dining room that’s perfect for an evening’s entertaining. Step up into the farmhouse kitchen well-equipped for a Sunday roast with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwaser. The bathroom is just off the hallway with shower over bath and WC. Head up the staircase and you will find two bedrooms, a kingsize with WC and a twin.
Heading back outside to the front of the cottage you can enjoy your morning coffee in the small courtyard area with seating.
