This delightful property is set in the heart of the New Forest National Park, surrounded by vast open spaces with stunning views, designated footpaths and cycle trails where you can see donkeys, New Forest ponies and often wild deer

Attached to the owners’ home yet offering a good degree of seclusion, this contemporary annexe is set in a village location in the heart of the New Forest. Frogham is a peaceful spot surrounded by spectacular countryside where animals roam free. With a pub on offer and a plethora of routes nearby that are ideal for walking and cycling it is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. Both Ringwood and Fordingbridge are easily accessible from here, where you can enjoy an afternoon exploring a choice of boutique shops and cafes. This picturesque area has an abundance of pretty towns and villages to explore, or why not take a trip to the coast at Milford on Sea or Lymington.

From the gravelled parking area a small path leads you around the annexe to the private entrance, which opens into a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The contemporary kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, fridge and a microwave. Overlooking the garden, this bright and airy room is the ideal spot for relaxing after a long walk in the surrounding forest and offers a TV and DVD. The double bedroom leads off of the lounge area and has an en-suite bathroom, with shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside you will find a large private, enclosed lawn with patio, BBQ, garden furniture and a garden shed available for storing your bikes or outdoor equipment. To the front of the property is a gated parking area for 2 cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This was a lovely little annex in a great location. It has a lovely homely feel to it and a pub across the road. The annex I spacious enough and has most things you need. The enclosed garden is great for if you have dogs and it was lovely watching cows and donkeys walk past every morning.

Such a lovely property. Out exploring most of the day but it was lovely to come back to a cosy cottage. Our two Labradors loved the garden and it was nice for it to be secure. Handy having a pub so close by and the visiting donkeys made it special.

Beautiful place, so tastefully decorated, lovely soft towels, very soft warm bed. If your stuck indoors due to the weather you will be comfortable. So close to walks, and a pub serving lovely food just across the road. Fantastic safe, beautiful garden. I have a lurcher and was worried he could escape, no worries about that when I got there.

We enjoyed three nights in this delightful holiday home. Garden was fenced securely - we have two small dogs. Accommodation was really great and the setting with a pub over the road too, was just ideal. Lots of walks directly from the property into New Forest. The owners live next door and made us very welcome.

A bright, clean, comfortable base for walks from the doorstep in the beautiful New Forest. The pretty enclosed garden was a huge bonus, particularly for our dog!

Spacious, comfortable and in an ideal location, I really enjoyed my stay living with so many animals literally on the doorstep. Perfect for dog owners with a lovely enclosed grassed garden and walks onto the heathland literally just around the corner. The donkeys, ponies, cows and even occasional pigs and deer, make this area a must for animal loveRead morers. Excellent property in an excellent location, ideally located for walks in the New Forest and approximately 20 miles from Bournemouth beach! Local amenities can be located via a short drive with a choice of supermarkets available. Friendly local pub on the doorstep, owners very welcoming we will be returning in the future. Very comfortable and well equipped property. Great walks and stunning views across the heathland are just around the corner. Ponies, donkeys, cows, deer and (in autumn) pigs all wander about the local roads. The New Forest at its best!

The Annexe is in lovely peaceful part of the New Forest with miles of good walking round the corner.It is spotlessly clean and the owners very helpful. The secure garden ideal for dogs.

Just loved the animals passing the gate and meeting in the road and on the common. The pubs were all great and let my three dogs in, we used five different venues. A very comfortable cottage and super welcome pack.

Abbotswell Annexe gave us the perfect, relaxing break we were looking for. Wonderful clean, bright, charming place to stay with secure, private garden. Easy access to the forest for great walking and lots of dog friendly pubs around. Our dog, Brodie, had a wonderful time too.

Great annex - although attached to the owners home, it was very private. It is spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a week's holiday. The location is brilliant if you want to walk along & through the New Forest Commons - the donkeys and ponies even visit the gates of the property - wonderful. Also good location for visits to Salisbury . WRead moree had a couple of days on the beach at Mudeford. Forresters Arms pub is across the road from annex, but no noise - serves good food. Hide

The cottage was well equipt and very comfortable, the well received welcome Scones and wine was an unexpected bonus. The garden was lovely and very secure and pet friendly, the pub adjacent was also dog friendly, although we did not visit this time. Abbots Well Annex is an a superb location to access The New Forest for walking and cycling with routes direct from the door.
