This house is ideal for all. Comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. Very clean linen and towels provided. Very good if you are taking a dog as enclosed wall garden very safe. We went in October. Ideal for walking the Tarka Trail and around the North Devon coast. Plenty of places to eat or have a drink in Appledore.

This cottage is in a good location in a picturesque village, very close to the estuary and several places to eat. It has 3 bathrooms which is convenient and a nice fireplace where you can have a proper roaring fire. The towels and sheets are of good quality and the kitchen has all the utensils anyone cooking could want. There is also a pretty courtRead moreyard garden where it is nice to relax. The only issue is parking which is on the street where there is often no space or down the road in a car park. Hide

The cottage is spacious and quirky - very old , but comfortable. Constant hot water. Lovely to have the garden space and separate terrace off the kitchen. Perfect location in Appledore - close to restaurants/pubs/grocery store/coffee shops and the quay, but tucked away and peaceful. Parking was manageable - free on the street or a low cost car parkRead more close by. Hide

Beautiful, large cottage full of historic character. Part of the oldest property in the town and well located - only a minute from the quay. Appledore is great if youre taking your dog on holiday (or if youre vegan).

We had a lovely long weekend with friends in Docton house, which was comfortable & steeped in history. The house was great, with enough space for a party of 7. The kitchen was well appointed & had everything we needed.
