Attractive detached property just a stone’s throw from Newquay’s Fistral Beach with its wide sandy beach, an excellent location for swimming and surfing.

Lying a short walk from Fistral Beach, this property makes the perfect holiday destination for those who love spending time in the ocean air. The wide stretch of sand is popular with surfers, bathers, and families alike and the beach-front complex with its shops, restaurants, bars, and surf school. These outlets include the famous Rick Stein’s fish and chip restaurant, a must-visit for those who want to try the famous chef’s modern take on the national dish. Newquay itself is a bustling town, known for its nightlife and attractions, including the Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo. A short drive around the coast allows visitors to explore of Cornwall’s coastline, with its numerous beaches and harbour towns.

This gem of a property makes a comfortable base for a seaside break. The decor has been kept clean and light, lending a relaxing feel to all the rooms. The lounge has comfortable sofas gathered around the TV, DVD, and gas fire, which makes the room nice and cosy even in the cooler months. The kitchen/diner has a patio door opening out onto the garden and is well-equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. There is also a ground-floor cloakroom with WC. Upstairs, the property’s two bedrooms are calm and restful. The main bedroom is a double with its own TV and sea views, whilst the other is a second double, with an additional single bed. The bathroom has a bath with a separate shower and WC.

Outside, the property benefits from a lovely enclosed garden, mainly set to lawn and with views out to sea. The garden table and chairs make this a wonderful place to enjoy an evening meal with the sound of the sea, or perhaps an early morning coffee. There is one allocated parking space. 1 dog welcome. 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage with our small dog. The cottage is clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, nice and quiet, with views of the beach, which is easily reached on foot. The centre of the town is a short walk.

As described. Lovely location, safe and quiet yet only 5 minutes walk from amazing Fistral Beach. Comfortably appointed missing a few useful items like a coffee percolator. Comfortable and clean bedrooms with excellent shower and plenty of hot water. Lovely dog friendly and child safe enclosed rear garden.

Lovely cottage with a fabulous position. Quite clean and well presented. This property needs to be cleaned before departure and we would have preferred to pay extra for it to be cleaned as this did spoil our last day.

Lovely, well appointed accommodation close to Fistral beach but a good 10 minute plus walk from the town centre. Very comfortable bed, slept like a baby but a cramped shower stall is disappointing. Very pretty house, nicely converted.

Property location was great and it was clean and comfortable but tye kitchen let it down a bit. The wood worktop is in need of a good sanding and oiling and the cupboards and drawers all smelt really musty which made all the plates, cups, glasses and cutlery smell. Other than that though it was fab!

The property was very close to the beach only few minutes walk but very quiet at night and only short walk to Newquay centre
