This luxury holiday home is set in 500 acres of farmland. The cottage is ideal for either enjoying the peace and quiet, or as a base to see all that North Devon has to offer. Some of the most breath taking coastal walks in the county are close to the farm and are great for all hikers and ramblers. Travelling further afield, attractions such as RHS Rosemoor, The Big Sheep and Hartland Abbey are a short car journey away.

The property features exposed beams and stonework throughout which retains much of the building’s original character. The spacious lounge is heated by a wood burner (logs £5 a basket), has ample comfortable seating, and entertainment is provided by a TV, DVD and stereo. There is also a WC on the ground floor. There is also a family bathroom with WC on the first floor.

Outside the house, there is an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ. Children can play in the fenced play area which features a trampoline, and there is also a shared lawn area with goal posts for playing football. Ample car parking is available.

The Old Granary is a lovely cottage with all of the equipment you need, it is will located for country walks, to the various attractions of Hartland and the various beach locations. The owners are easy to talk to and get advice from (well worth listening to!), we had a lovely time and would easily return.

Lovely cottage. Very quiet location can be a bit tricky to find first time but if its peace and quiet you are after then this is perfect..just a stones throw away from some of the most spectacular walks along the coastline especially from the Hartland lighthouse

Excellent place to get away from busy cities, we had 3 children with us and they were quite excited about the playground on site. The ocean view from the top of the road is amazing. Theres everything that you need at the property except the food.

We enjoyed our stay at Docton Farm immensely. The folk running it were very helpful and kindly showed the children the animals etc. The surrounding beaches are excellent if a bit of a drive. Good (relatively) local shops and facilities.

The only downside was the 2 miles of single track we had to drive through to reach and leave the property.
