A beautiful place, warm and welcoming. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A great place to stay as its central location gives good access to the whole area. We recomend this to all our family and friends and will definitely go back. It does have quite a lot of steps up to the cottage so not very easy access for those with mobility pRead moreroblems. Cottage was OK and in great part of the Lake District. Major drawback was the steepness of the whole site and the steep access to the cottage.

Although part of a holiday complex the positioning of the cabin is really private. Ample, easy parking but the steps up to the cabin would preclude it from any disabled guests The pictures can't convey the wonderful array of birdsong. Especially nice to hear a cuckoo fr the first time in years. Bats are regular visitors in the evening and it's fabulRead moreous to look up at a sky which doesn't have any light pollution. Didn't get time to sample the swimming pool but it looked lovely. Hide
