Location good , very pleasant woodland surroundings, if a little overgrow since the Cottage photo was taken. Patio gets the late afternoon and evening sun in Summer, the trees will obscure this in the autumn and winter months. Easy walk to Skelwith Bridge, and the Cumbrian Way.

A very nice property, clean and well presented. The hot water pressure is very low in both kitchen and bathroom, consequently the shower is not very fast if you want it hot. A great location for the central lakes. The estate is quiet. The wifi worked well but there is no mobile signal. The hotel at the bottom of the hill is good for food. Use the footpath to walk down rather than the road. There are no views of the hills from the apartment: it is surrounded by trees. It needs some TLC. A beautiful apartment, stunning views, very comfy, not spotlessly as clean as Id hoped, windows dirty, pet hairs on carpet and floors, knives blunt, freezer needs defrosting, batteries in remote controls were missing, and spa bath didnt work. Could do with a deep clean throughout and attention to detail wouldnt go amis. But apart from that we had a wonderful stay. Hide

An absolutely fantastic location, where we were able to sit inside of out and enjoy the wildlife. Take plenty of bird food with you.
