Set within the owners’ 600 acre working beef, sheep and arable farm, it provides a pleasant setting for exploring the sandy beaches of the Northumberland coastline, The Cheviots and Scottish Borders.

Located just minutes away from the Northumberland Coast, An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, recognised in Robson Greens Tales of Northumberland series. The area has a wealth of sites to visit, from its’ history rich castles to long sandy beaches and little fishing villages. You can take a boat trip from nearby Seahouses across to the Farne Islands and you can also drive across the causeway, subject to tide guidelines. If rolling hills and countryside are more your thing you are just a short drive to The Cheviots and Northumberland National Park which could keep the walkers and cyclists amused by for hours. Across the Scottish border just 8miles North you can visit the medieval town of Berwick-upon-Tweed for leisure and shopping facilities.

Accessing through the back hall of  the owners’ farmhouse you will find the entrance and stairway to the well-proportioned annexe. Each room leads from a spacious landing, the kitchen/diner provides a wonderful setting for a meal for two, equipped with electric oven and hob and fridge. The lounge has dual aspect windows, a comfortable space to curl up on the sofa and watch TV after a long day breathing in the sea air, with a lovely view out across the owners’ fields toward the sea and Holy Island. The bedroom has a king-size bed and light beams through the window on a bright sunny day. The bathroom is a bright airy room with a handheld shower with bath and WC.

There is ample parking space outside the farmhouse entrance. For those that wish to bring bikes, fishing equipment etc the owners will be more than happy to store securely for you. There is an outside seating area alongside the farmhouse and the owner welcomes you to explore their land and you may even be lucky enough to see first-hand what goes on down at the farm.

Fantastic week at this holiday flat. The views rate as some of the best ever - amazing sunrise over Holy Island viewed from the comfort of the bedroom. Very comfortable bed and the living room was great with TV, wi fi and lovely real effect fire. Definitely like to come back and see more of what Northumberland has to offer.

A comfortable well equipped flat (on one level but up a flight of stairs) wil more than adequate facilities for a couple. Quiet, with beautiful views and easily accessible to the many beautiful places in Northumberland.

Lovely family very welcoming always willing to help with any enquiries, location ideal for walkers and site seeing. The flat very roomy and bigger than I thought ideal for couple, sofa and armchair too low and uncomfortable other wise a lovely place and homely.

The flat was part of a large farmhouse on a working farm. It was spacious, bright and very comfortable. The owners live in the farmhouse itself and are delightful, friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
