We had a really wonderful stay at Waterwheel. Im 7 months pregnant and booked this as a last minute 3 night get away with my husband and our dog. The cottage was just perfect, really clean with everything you need. On arrival were were so grateful for the coffee, milk, biscuits, wine and beer. We ventured to port Issac, Bude, Westward Ho, Clovelly Read more& Hartland quay to watch a beautiful sunset from the hotel, but couldnt wait to get back to the cottage, put on the log burner and relax. Wow, What a great cottage. the location is amazing, yes it is on a working farm but it's very quiet and peaceful. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The views from the top of the drive are stunning. We would definitely go back.

The cottage is in a beautiful location and a bit of the beaten track so make sure you have a sturdy vehicle! The cottage is lovely and clean and the perfect size for me, my partner and our 6 month old baby who enjoyed seeing all the new sites. A 25 minute drive to Bude which was lovely and close to other small towns.
