Excellent cottage. Very welcoming, and excellent welcome pack, it was as if you knew us! We had two dogs with us who also enjoyed their stay. I have to say it is the best cottage we've stayed in. Excellent cottage. Very clean, very warm, best welcome pack I have ever seen and good info pack in the cottage. However parking a problem if you have a long car. I estimate parking space to be about 4.5 meters long up against a wall. So if you car is over 3.5 meters it will be a bit tight as you need space behind the car to empty it. If you have a Read moresmall to medium sized car this cottage will be excellent for you. Excellent walks for dogs from property and well fenced to keep dogs in. Hide

A beautiful and spotless character cottage for two plus dog with an enclosed garden, good walks from the doorstep and a great pub just across the road. The views of the surrounding countryside are stunning, everyone we met was warm and welcoming and one week was just not enough!

We had a wonderful time at the Old Forge Cottage. Such a great location to explore East Sussex. Lovely walks right nearby as well and an enclosed garden made it very dog and child friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage is very well located, to provide us with a lovely welcome pack was very thoughtful too. The accommodation was spotless. Good access to some lovely dog walks, we even had a super woodland walk literally across the road. Very well placed to travel all around the area. We had a lovely time exploring - nearly as much as our dog.

A beautiful cottage that has all the home comforts and more. Perfect for setting out on countryside rambles. We loved our time there, and although a small garden it was contained so our German Shepherd could relax after long walks in the woodlands. Attention to detail and comfort was just perfect.

Lovely cottage all on one level. Some steep steps up to the cottage though. Car park was challenging as the space is small. Lovely welcoming place to stay and explore the area. The welcome goodies were a nice touch too. Local pub was welcoming and nice menu.
