A range of boat trips are offered from the village’s harbour, and visitors can also buy daily fishing permits. A short drive to the south, the Cornish town of Bude is a popular place for seaside lovers, with its choice of beaches, and traditional seaside facilities including a tidal pool. And don't forget to visit the beautiful gardens of RHS Rosemoor altogether making this a great location for exploring both Devon and Cornwall.

The main living area is the spacious lounge diner, which has French doors leading to the property’s decked area. The comfortable seating in this room allows guests to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the TV and DVD. The well-equipped kitchen has everything that guests will need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine and dishwasher. The property’s two bedrooms are also located on the ground floor. The main bedroom is a tranquil and relaxing double, whilst the second bedroom is an equally tasteful and understated twin room. The bathroom benefits from an elegant roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle and WC.
Outside, the detached lodge sits in its own grounds with a large lawn perfect for the pups or children to play in while you watch from the decked area with seating and a BBQ. Guests are also more than welcome to explore the smallholding and may enjoy meeting and helping to feed the animals, which include chickens, and ducks.
