Heather Villa was homely in the lounge and bedroom areas. It is in a great place for exploring the area. It is on a main road though the bedroom is on the back of the property so it did not disturb us.

The cottage is warm, well equipped and comfortable with a pleasant patio area. It is convenient for the Forest and for a small shop but anything else requires some firm of transport. WiFi is good but apart from O2, there is no mobile coverage.

Cottage was extremely comfortable and in a good location for the New Forest and for the coast as Poole was only about 1/2 hour away. Did feel that the cottage could have been cleaner as the windows were dirty but the weather did not help. The shower screen also had water marks on it.

We had a lovely short break, there's plenty of room for two and everything you might need . The location is perfect for visiting the New Forest and exploring the nearby coast, we're particularly fond of Christchurch. Can definitely recommend a day trip to the Isle of White.
