Located in the historic village of Northlew, close to the 15th century church of St Thomas Beckett of Canterbury, you will be perfectly positioned to explore Devon and Cornwall. Rugged Dartmoor is a short drive away and is perfect for nature lovers and walkers and the popular Tarka Trail and Granite Way are also within easy reach. There is also a hotel nearby which offers a range of sporting and leisure facilities such as golf, tennis, various watersports and indoor activities. Alternatively, head towards the coast and enjoy the long, sandy, surfing beaches and sheltered coves the area is famed for. Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet village. We have a 20 month old child who loved the local park, which is suitable up to 8-10 year olds. If coming with young children then bring a travel stair gate as the stairs were a constant worry. Parking was not an issue at all throughout our stay and is situated approximately 20 meters from the house. The Read morehouse is quaint and cosy and full of dvds, books and games for rainy days. Plenty of cooking equipment. Hide
