The property’s kitchen is tastefully decorated and well-equipped with an oven, hob, large  fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.  There is a back utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and large drying cabinet perfect for drying walking gear and boots. Great location, very quiet. area. Good sized rooms throughout, fully equipped kitchen, utensils, pans etc, makes a refreshing change. Would be even better with nicer weather as it has a gorgeous garden + patio set for outside dining, relaxing. as previous comments suggests, needs a refurb, but didnt affect our stay, just cosmetic. Good wifi.! we alsRead moreo stayed in another rental which provided sanitiser, sprays, wipes etc to help with the covid regs within the house.- good idea-We will def revisit Hide

Patio doors require replacing as extremely draughty. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine, tumble dryer and drying cabinet a real bonus. Just needs updating.

Lovely rural location, however we thought it had a secure garden for the dog, but as the garden lead to the drive which was shared then not a dog friendly place. Entry via a tight gateway - our car only just fitted through it!

Excellent choice as I was with my 91 year old Mother who has limited mobility. No problems at all with her own ensuite shower room which was easily accessed (not a shower over a bath) as was the remainder of the property. Centrally based and yet so peaceful and quiet.

A cosy cottage but could do with a bit of an update. Very nice location and easy to walk to Hawkshead. Nice enclosed garden too.

The cottage is situated in a beautiful location and in spite of some lack of maintenance we had a wonderful week staying there. local pubs were welcoming to us and the dog, and the food was good. Easy to get into Hawkshead and Ambleside from here. We loved our stay in the Lake District.
