Other buildings of note in the village include The Old Grammar School, attended by William Wordsworth and the former Courthouse. The washing machine can be found in the convenient ground-floor cloakroom where there is also a WC. The Hall was ideal for a Christmas lunch for 11, including both carnivores and vegans, showing the capacity of the Aga and the supporting oven and the scale of provision of trays, pots and crockery. It was also a delight that Lakeland had put up a tree.
